"
Our aim is to provide you with the highest quality of medical care.  We believe that this includes not only medical expertise and access to the latest advances in medical technology, but also a patient-doctor relationship based upon respect and understanding."

Welcome to our practice
, on behalf of Dr. Ramani and entire staff.

Established by Dr. Ramani, GI Associates of Delaware has been serving the Kent County area for 15 years.  We specialize in the treatment of GI disorders including colorectal polyps and cancer, acid reflux disease,  peptic ulcer disease, irritable bowel syndrome, colitis, Crohn's disease, and gallbladder problems.

At GI Associates of Delaware, we put our patients first starting with ample and easy parking that is close to our front door.  We offer urgent appointments to patients.  Our  office helps you relax and feel right at home with its comfortable decor and less clinical look and feel.  Our waiting room, multiple exam rooms, and adjacent endoscopy suite all in the  same building makes a visit very easy and convenient.  Some of the advantages of having a private endoscopy suite include patient privacy, efficiency, and lower cost for procedures.  We also have a board-certified anesthesiologist who administers sedation.  Our goal is to make your procedure as comfortable as possible.  We are located in the center of Dover, just a few steps away from the local hospital.

PREVENTING COLON CANCER

The practice's key area of interest is colon cancer screening: surveillance and prevention.  Approximately 130,000 new cases of colorectal cancer are diagnosed in the United States every year, and 56,000 people die from this disease.
